"We should be raising children who master the Internet, embrace AI, and learn to code. Instead, we are doing the exact opposite. The Blocker exists to change that."

One quick step to turn on protection.

No Router Changes Needed

The Blocker works by quietly redirecting your child's internet requests through our safety filters. Setting it up takes about 60 seconds — you change one simple setting on your child's phone or tablet. We show you exactly how, with step-by-step instructions. You'll be protected before you finish your coffee.

🛡️ Your Blocker DNS Addresses

Every device needs to know where to find websites — that's what DNS does. Right now your child's device uses your internet provider's DNS, which doesn't filter anything. Replace it with Charly's, and every request comes through Charly first.

Primary DNS
192.241.154.146

  1. Go to Settings, then Wi-Fi.
  2. Find your network and tap the info icon (ⓘ) next to it.
  3. Scroll down to Configure DNS and select Manual.
  4. Delete any existing DNS numbers.
  5. Add 192.241.154.146 as the first DNS server.
  6. Add 167.172.240.35 as the second DNS server.
  7. Tap Save. You're done!
  1. Go to Settings, then Wi-Fi.
  2. Long-press your network, then tap Edit (or the pencil icon).
  3. Tap Advanced Options.
  4. Change the DNS setting from Automatic to Static (or "Private DNS").
  5. Delete any existing DNS numbers.
  6. Enter 192.241.154.146 as the primary DNS.
  7. Enter 167.172.240.35 as the secondary DNS.
  8. Tap Save. You're all set!
Charly's tip: These settings protect this device on any Wi-Fi network. If you ever want to remove The Blocker, just delete these two numbers and the device falls back to your provider's default — nothing to uninstall.
  1. Delete the app you want to fully block (Instagram, TikTok, whichever). Press and hold the icon, then Remove App → Delete App. If there's more than one, just repeat this step for each — there's no bulk option, but each one only takes a few seconds.
  2. Go to Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions, and turn it on.
  3. Go back to the main Screen Time screen, tap Lock Screen Time Settings, and set a 4-digit passcode — pick one your child doesn't know, separate from their regular device passcode.
  4. Go to Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases, tap Installing Apps, and set it to Don't Allow.
  1. Delete the app you want to fully block.
  2. If you don't already have Family Link set up, install it from the Play Store and follow the prompts to link your child's account.
  3. Open Family Link, tap your child's name, then Controls → App Activity.
  4. Find the app you deleted (or the Play Store itself) and set it to blocked.
